Ampollino Lake is an artificial lake located in Sila. The beginning of the construction of the dam began in 1916 and ended in 1927. At his inauguration took part in the King Vittorio Emanuele III. This lake has a special feature, in fact wet three different provinces, that of Cosenza, Crotone and to that of Catanzaro. It was the first artificial reservoir to be built in Sila.
