Look in the upper center of the bokeh, under the yellow flower. The predator hides among the flower stems....
Had I seen what the lens picked up, I would have removed the pest. Unfortunately for the butterfly, I only saw it when it had already struck. I tried to save it, but was unsuccessful. I removed the pest and brought it far away from this garden plot that was made for Hummingbirds and Butterflies.
