They both were trying to light the same fire.
But one was a withered candle, who had been through the worst of the storms and survived.
While the other was a roaring torch ablaze with the hopes of tomorrow and fearless in the heart.
The torch looked at the withered candle with a sense of pity and helplessness and said " If this is the final destination, than what is the purpose of my existence?"
The candle looked fondly at the torch, remembering its own fiery youth and replied " Child, do not be afraid. There is a spark in you. Ignite it.
Light up the darkness that shadows this beautiful world. Give your warmth and fire to those who stumble around in despair. Believe in yourself and give hope to those who have embraced the black.
Because, my son, it is never about the destination.
It is always about the journey.
