Love the way it disappears into nothing. Post-processing or natural?

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a family holiday to Cornwall where we visited the Gardens of Heligan. We stumbled across this rope bridge which turned out to be a great photo opportunity!

Time

This is my all time favourite image because of the symmetry. Waking up at 8am to travel to the gardens on a rainy day didn't seem very appealing. However since that day I've grown to love the rain because of how vibrant and striking everything looks compared to sunny days.

Lighting

Honestly, the only lighting in this image came from the couple of rays poking through the clouds

Equipment

This image was taken on the Samsung NX3000 with a 16-50mm lens.

Inspiration

I enjoy taking and looking at pictures that are symmetrical so when I saw the merging lines of this bridge I just had to take a photo.

Editing

Absolutely none at all!

In my camera bag

My NX3000 pretty much comes with me anywhere I go. It's small and lightweight yet perfect to film and take pictures on with 20mp!

Feedback

Be prepared for weather changes but also be patient. The best pictures come from unexpected moments like how I thought my images wouldn't benefit from it being a rainy day yet they turned out better.
