Location
I took this picture in the Beach side of Western Africa during my photo walk.Time
It was hot summer noon. I had a difficult time of managing the harsh light. I had to overpower the light with my on camera speedlite.Lighting
I have used on camera speedlight to over power the hot summer noon harsh light. Didn't have anything to diffuse hence i have used the tissue paper on the flash head to soften the light little bit.Equipment
Canon EOS 7D, 28-135mm lens, Canon Flash, manual exposure.Inspiration
Those eyes and willingness to pose without telling anything to this kid.Editing
Yes, I have used Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 to increase the contrast, convert into B&W and I have used Topaz to do get some details .In my camera bag
Canon EOS 7D, 5D mark-ii, few speedlights, two shoot-through umbrella, two light stands. My bag always contains 50mm prime, 28-135mm zoom. I also use Nikon D7100 & D5300.Feedback
Never put the lens cap on your lens. No one know when that Kodak moment happens. Keep shooting. Have guts to break the rules.
