When talking with some friends of a plan to watch the Perseids Meteor shower, the idea came up to load some paddle boards into the truck, and drive up to Joffre Lakes and float on the water, lying on our backs and watching the show from the middle of the lake.
After a while I came in to shore to try and get a really good picture, hopefully one with a meteor in it. So as I directed my friends around the lake, trying different things, different light painting...... and about 120 shots later.... FINALLY! and couldn't have been more perfect to have it go right through the Milky Way.
