Coy Girl

Lady was my English Cocker Spaniel and a very special angel in my life. She seemed to know before I did when my non-smoking lung cancer had returned for a second time. She was my constant shadow and didn't leave my side. Once the cancer was found, and I went into the hospital to have surgery to remove 60% of my left lung she was waiting at the door when I returned home. It took two men and my 15 year old son to hold her back - her excitement was that great when she saw me. After that during my recovery she was a care taker and angel, never leaving me and looking on with big brown eyes full of love. I have missed this little girl every day since she passed. I took this picture with my old SLR Pentax ca 1994. Lady loved laying down with a pillow - like a person.
