Thank You - No expertise here! The Pohutukawa Trees in this location are very old (some around 150yrs, they have amazingly knarley, tortured looking limbs. They "naturally" frame every part of the waters edge... Around Dec they have the most stunning red flowers resembling a bottle brush - it is known as New Zealand's native Christmas Tree. This beautiful Estuary has extreme tides - this was taken at High Tide, my more recent were taken at extreme Low Tide. I love the contrasting changes.
