Buddy System, Point Loma Tide Pools, CA

As the tide was starting to come in, I noticed dozens of these tiny little hermit crabs all grouped together around larger outrcoppings of rocks and in cracks and holes. I realized that they were all clinging together to prevent being washed back out to sea from the powerful waves.
