Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Eastern Washington.

Time

This photo was taking as the sun was setting during golden hour.

Lighting

The lighting was fun to work with because of the colors it helped create.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D80 and at the time the only lens I had with me was a 18-55mm kit lens.

Inspiration

I was watching the sunset and my brother swimming and just moved the way the colors looked over the water. I knew I would want to remember this moment so I decided to capture it.

Editing

No. I didnt have editing software at the time. This photo was taken when I was very new to photography.

In my camera bag

I usually bring my Nikon D80 and I always have my 50mm lens. Sometimes I cary a telephoto lens depending on where I am going.

Feedback

I recommend looking for moments in your life that you want to save and try your hardest to take a picture that looks exactly like how you saw the moment. I constantly try to challenge myself to take photos that give off different vibes that also make the viewer feel that they are in the moment. That is how I create my best images!
