When you hear the word 'kiosk' you don't exactly picture a trendy little cafe. Personally I equate kiosk with fish and chips, scoops of ice cream and hot jam doughnuts (which isn't altogether a terrible thing). Yet follow the timber pier to the yellow weatherboard building that is St Kilda Pier Kiosk, and you will find a unique cafe experience where you can sip your coffee hundreds of metres away from dry land.
