Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was took on Látrabjarg, Iceland on my first trip there. This place is a bird cliff, the westernmost point of the island. Was the first time I saw puffins and they are beautiful.

Time

This picture I believe was taken on the morning, we stayed couple of hours in that place before continue heading north on the West fjords.

Lighting

Birds cliff can give you shadows that you don't expect. The bird was there waiting for me to take the picture.

Inspiration

This was the first time I saw puffins, I wanted to capture the majestic of this small animals. Be patience enough to let this one pose like this for a brief moment.

Editing

I did very little post-processing in this one. Tried to do more editing to see other results last year, but I'm not sure on wich one I like more.

In my camera bag

Usually have my drone Dji Mavic, mi camera Canon and my GoPro.

Feedback

Beware of puffin season, they are not all year round there.
