Hand casting event hosted by friends-glassblowers-owners of Kingston Glass Studio and Gallery in Kingston, Ontario. This one is my daughter's second hand cast -- at the moment I took the photo, is was glowing due to the heat of the molten glass poured into the hand imprint in the sand. It took about 3 days to cool completely before we could take it home and place it on the mantle.
