Sunrise at Loch Ba, Rannoch Moor, Scotland
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

Loch Bà, Rannoch Moor, Scotland, United Kingdom

Time

Taken at sunset

Lighting

The lighting was all natural, and the cellphone camera managed to pick up the nuances.

Equipment

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge mobile phone camera.

Inspiration

The sunset was simply magnificent! Whether attending at this point at sunrise or sunset I've never failed to be awestruck at the beauty of this remote spot.

Editing

No, the photo is entirely "as shot" without any modification

In my camera bag

Generally a Nikon Superzoom, as well as a couple of tripod, but on this occasion all that was redundant

Feedback

Just react to what nature throws your way. Sunsets and sunrises are over very quickly, so grab whatever you have available to take the shot, as, if you mess about trying to set up equipment, you're bound to miss that perfect "window" of opportunity.
