Light was strong enough for high speed shot but also nearing the sweet hour and thus lighting the subjects from the sides which makes for nice contrasts.Equipment

The whole thing was staged. Put food and water source and waited patiently to see what happened . Got many different species to get close .Editing

As few items as I can so I can stay mobile and quickly at the ready. I never use or carry a tripod.Feedback
Food isn't enough. Also make sure you give the birds fresh water to drink. You will need to stay calm , still and patient.
