Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken along the Semaphore foreshore in Adelaide South Australia

Time

This photo was taken on my Wife's Birthday we were heading out for dinner to celebrate and the Sunset was perfect so I quickly grabbed my camera and took several shots, within 5 minuets the sun was gone. Very lucky shot

Lighting

The light was perfect, grab what ever light you can

Equipment

Olympus OMD EM-1, 12-40 Pro lens and lent on my car to get a steady shot

Inspiration

The beautiful sunset, just driving along the foreshore I couldn't let this opportunity pass by

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

My Olympus OMD EM-1, 12-40mm Pro lens, my Joby tripod a ND filter, spare batteries cleaning equipment

Feedback

Sometimes its good to take the photo in your mind of what you are trying to achieve, be quick as the sunset can be very fast. Take lost of photos and experiment with the different settings, I slightly under exposed to get this image and what I wanted to see ( In my mind) dont be afraid to experiment
