See all

Behind The Lens

Location

At Inner Image Media studios in North Hollywood

Time

12-1pm

Lighting

One source soft box light

Equipment

Nikon D610 & and a fog machine.

Inspiration

I am a huge fan of noir style and European fashion magazines. I wanted to show off this woman's classic beauty and leave you wanting more.

Editing

Minimal. skin touch up, highlights on the eyes and slight contrast adjustments.

In my camera bag

I go with whatever fits the look Im going for. 35mm and 85mm primes are my jam typically .

Feedback

Pick a focal point. For me its typically the eyes. I find if you build around a focal point it can give your photo series & subjects more purpose.
