Behind The Lens

Location

nothing fancy here, just threw a sheet over a table and took a few shots to test the light, he got bored lay down and that was the shot i liked best

Time

taken in the house during a wet weekend.

Lighting

only used one light with softbox and a reflector on the opposite side.

Equipment

shot on a nikon d200. tripod and remote shutter. one speedlight off camera with softbox

Inspiration

i wanted to test different lighting set ups and as it was a wet day i decided to use Eddie as my model.

Editing

minimal post processing the usual brightness and contrast etc.

In my camera bag

nikon d7000. 50mm prime. tamron 70-200mm 2.8. 85mm prime.

Feedback

the only advice i would give is advice i should have taken myself a long time ago. you can look at all the tutorials and read all the mags but there is nothing like going out(or in) and just taking pictures. it gets you used to handling your camera with speed, you become more adept at changing your settings and you can experiment knowing its costing you nothing. thank you for liking my picture.
