Behind The Lens
Location
In the CA high desert.Time
It was around 6 am in March.Lighting
The sun was rising in the east and that gave it unique lighting.Equipment
Canon T3i with a telephoto lens. No flash needed with the sun coming up.Inspiration
It was during a full moon cycle and I was driving on the freeway around 6am and noticed the moon setting. When I found a place to pull off I couldn't believe what the moon looked like behind the red clay dirt. It happened to win 2nd place at the Los Angeles County Fair last year.Editing
No I just use some slight editing in either Photo Shop or iPhoto on my computer. In my camera bag
Always my camera bag has my telephoto lens up to 250mm, wide angle lens and my regular lens. Tripod too.Feedback
I don't really plan my shots. I see it through my eyes and hope that is what I captured in the photo. Not all pictures come out as you see them and when they do it is so exciting. I love landscapes probably the best. Just go for it take the shot and no matter what you will always have a beautiful memory.
