An amazing sunset over the rolling hills of Newtown Bucks County Pa. This area is the area that General George Washington in camped during the harsh December of 1776 prior and after the crossing of the Delaware River when he defeated the the enemy in camped in Trenton on Christmas and then again a few days later. Future President Monroe was part of the battle as a young 18 year old assigned to Officer Green. He was treated for a gun shot wound to the shoulder and later studied law under the guidance of Thomas Jefferson.
