Getting close to the action as the Ulster Grand Prix 2010. The bikes are flying into the tight left hander and using all the road they have available; getting up close to the spectators less than a meter away (I think this has since changed to move them further back) Ryan (77) is leading with Bruce (5) and William (4) in close pursuit.

On the run up to the breaking zone William (4) suffers an engine problem and begins to loose speed. As he cannot let go of the handle bars to warn those behind of his problem; riders routinely lift their leg to warn other riders that they are slowing down so they can take evasive maneuvers.

Unfortunately in this case and as there are no mirrors, William (4) has no idea how close Bruce (5) is to him and that he is coming up the outside for an overtaking maneuver. Bruce (5) had make a lightning fast decision to weave through the small gap between the fence holding back spectators and Williams leg which he does with ease; and has left me with a jaw dropping picture of just how close the riders can get to the spectators and each other!
