The Wave is an exquisite sandstorm formation in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah. To preserve integrity, only 20 hikers per day are allocated permits via a popular lottery. Chances of getting a permit is less than 5%. Hiking isn't easy - there's no trail and the hike is 6+ miles of Utah backcountry. But what an amazing place!
