When I was on a holiday in Norway, I saw this rock that looked like it had a face carved into it. At first everyone thought it was done by humans, turns out it was just a result of decades of wind rushing against it.

Location
This photo was taken in Norway, in the Geirangerfjord while I was there on a summer holidayTime
I took this photo in the middle of the day, but luckily it was a bit cloudy so there wasn't a lot of bright sunlight. As I was on a boat we were just passing by the fjord and I didn't notice the face at first.I always find it so special how the wind can be so powerfull it can carve shapes or figures, like the face in this picture, out of something so strong as rock.Lighting
I took this photo 2 years and back then I didn't have any options when it comes to lightning. I didn't have an extra flash or diffuser so i just had to work with the natural light coming from the sun and through the clouds.Equipment
I use a Canon eos 550d for a few years now and considering i'm still a college student, I can't afford all the necassary equipment yet, but i make do with what I have. I do have a tripod and a flash is on its way as well.Inspiration
This was a very spontaneous and unplanned photo, I had no clue that I'd be seeing this! Whenever I go somewhere, I look up some of the places or views that are worth visiting but I always look around a lot, searching for unexpected scenes like this one.Editing
I did not use any post-processing at all, and even if so, i always try to keep the processing at a minimal. In my camera bag
I always take my Canon eos 550d with me everywhere i go. I also always have two lenses with me, 18-55 mm and 55-250 mm, as well as my tripod.Feedback
Norway is a very beautiful place in general to take photographs. The fjords are such magical places and the Geirangerfjord is definitaly worth the visit and so are the Lysefjords. Don't forget to look up instead of just looking around becauses that is where you will find places like this. There is a lot that can be missed if you don't look up.
