Location
Hello, My name is Narek Hovas. I'm an artist, currently very interested in mobilography. This picture is taken near a little park in the center of Yerevan, Armenia. I had no plans to make pictures that day. I was lucky that I took with me my Nokia 808 PureView. I saw many lights around that park while was walking to home, and there was no one there. In every corner you could see many Christmas decorations and other very beautiful things.Time
It was a cold December night, people were preparing to the winter holidays. It was around 11:40 PM. It was very COLD.Lighting
Since it was night this picture was made by the artificial lights. And the light sources were the objects themselves. I used here the bokeh technique to show the simple things in new light.Equipment
I used Nokia 808 PureView with Carl Zeiss lenses (f/2.4, 8 mm) Didn't use flash, tripod or other things.Inspiration
Christmas movies. Yeah, I'm not joking. I always dreamed to make a picture where children can feel Christmas magic by looking on it. After taking this picture I immediately felt that this is that magical shot I wanted. That's why I called this "Fairytale". This picture is dedicated to all children around the world!Editing
Yes! I slightly edit my shots in Adobe Lightroom. Here I've touched the saturation, colors, brightness, shadows, sharpness, contrast & highlight. There was no need to edit more because it already was a ready shot!In my camera bag
In my bag you can find few Nokia phones, a tripod, a portable battery charger, MicroSD cards, a cleaning cloth for lenses. That's all!Feedback
Always take your camera with you. Try to look at everyday things differently. And be patient to catch the right moment. __________ Dear Viewbug, I'm very thankful for this opportunity. And very happy that you chose this picture. It means a lot to me :) Sincerely, Narek
