Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot near Midlothian/Ovilla Texas. Unfortunately, this area has recently been overrun by new housing as Texas expands.

Time

Shot at midday with storm clouds approaching

Lighting

Natural but with dramatic clouds as background.

Equipment

Nikon D90 with a Sigma 17-70mm (my favorite lens).

Inspiration

My late brother and I would just like to go on long drives in my sports car and I always am on the lookout for interesting shots

Editing

Yes but minimally in Photoshop to bump up highlights in the storm clouds

In my camera bag

Nikon D90 and D50. Sigmas 17-70mm and 18-200mm and Tokina 11-16mm

Feedback

Keep your eye out always and for different than amateur angles. Practice, practice and practice. "Film" is cheap now with digital.
