Ayhsa is a sixteen year-old indian Tiger. Not the biggest tiger, sure, but one of the most companionable and reliable. Come rain or shine, Aysha's always there. With strong side-lighting (In fact she was lying on her side - this was taken in landscape orientation) her eye seems to melt.
Taken on a photographic workshop at Isle of Wight Zoo, this has had minimal post-processing - a little extra contrast and slight rotation. This is pretty much as I saw it in the viewfinder.
