Behind The Lens

Location

Being an Alberta girl I get to see a lot of our prairies. This was taken at my sister's farm in Trochu, Alberta.

Time

The sun was just setting around 8:30 pm.

Lighting

This was a natural light that I had managed to capture from the suns glare as it was setting making way for nightfall.

Equipment

This was shot using my old Sony camera. No other equipment.

Inspiration

I have always been fascinated with sunsets. There is something magical about them. When the day comes to a close, and makes way for the stars. I know that sun will rise again in the morning. Nature is like this, consistant yet ever changing. No two sunsets are a like.

Editing

I dried to clear some of the digital noise but other than this no.

In my camera bag

I always pack my Canon Rebel and an assortment of lenses .

Feedback

Just get out there and explore the world. Even if this world is your own backyard. There are so many wonderful snapshot opportunities waiting to be captured. Anything from a little bug to the birds singing in the trees. Find the image that you can see in your lense as well as your heart. Love what you do, and do what you love.
