Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on a cold winters evening in my home on the great ocean road.

Time

The photo was taken in the evening.I remember my nethew & partner were playing board games. I decided to pull out my trusty Canon & started shooting shots around the house.

Lighting

Our home is full of different lamp lighting and with the fire burning it created such a warm ambience.

Equipment

This was taken with a Canon EOS 600D using the EFS 18-55mm lense.

Inspiration

I have an absolute love for animal photography, especially my own fur babies. I remember Dora the pictured cat was starring at me, those eyes piercing me. I grabbed my canon and started shooting.

Editing

I use an editing program called Pic Monkey.

In my camera bag

I dont have allot of equipment as yet, due to being more of a amatuer photographer. So I always carry my lense with me and always a spare memory card.

Feedback

I would say to anyone who is taking photos to just keep trying. Be brave! Use what surrounds you, even if it means moving lamps around. There are no rules when it comes to taking photos, be creative and allow yourself to enjoy.
