In a hurry to get home. Great shot.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo inside an abandoned builduing, close to the city centre of my hometown Turin. The building was a part of the ancient royal academy pole. It's "barocco piemontese" styles and it was built in 18th century; unfortunately nowadays it is completely abandoned and nobody cares about it, but it is really a gorgeous place.

Time

In ther afternoon, nearly 4 pm.

Lighting

While I was wandering among the rooms I found that broken wall with a huge hole. Then I took a picture and I thought it was a great trick to get faster in another room when you're in a hurry.

Equipment

I used a SLR camera, more precisely canon 100D. The lens I used is 17-85 mm f/4-5.6.

Inspiration

I found it funny and dramatic at the same time.

Editing

No I didn't.

In my camera bag

Normally I have my camera, 3-4 other lenses, tripod and a remote control.

Feedback

If you're in Turin and you love taking pics, just ask for "Cavallerizza". It's the 'nickname'of the place. That's an inspiring place for every photographer. If you similar images and situations you to get courage and go inside buildings which have fallen into disuse.
