Behind The Lens

Location

Well, this photo was taken in Dubai (UAE). It was our honeymoon trip with my wife. We went for a safari-day somewhere in the desert of Dubai.

Time

It was late in the afternoon maybe after the sunset.

Lighting

Nature did all the lighting work! No other artificial lighting source was used other than ambient light!

Equipment

The photo was shot with a plain, simple Sony camcorder! My Canon was not avaliable at the moment (resting in the vehicle), but the photo had to be taken by any means!

Inspiration

The moment and the scenery itself were enough to be inspired of. It was impressive seeing a four- wheel motorcycle turning in a two-wheel in a few seconds! So I just pushed the button and took the shot!

Editing

Nothing in particular. A little bit of sharpening and fixing the courves a little bit.

In my camera bag

I always carry my Canon 5D mark II with the 24-105 mm zoom lens. Also i carry my favorite 50 mm f1.8, the 15 mm fisheye and the 20 mm wide angle, the lensbaby composer, and the 580 ex II flash.

Feedback

Just be ready! Get your camera with you always and be prepared for the unexpected! You never know when is the right time and place...
