Earlier in the week whilst out for a sunrise i decided that it would be rude to visit Middle Black Clough waterfall as its a location i've never been too and was kinda on my way back home.
Cracking location that has so many angles to photograph it from. A word of warning to none-walkers if you want to visit this place, its a good scramble to get up too it, good footwear is advised.
The waterfall itself is a good 10 metres tall and, as seen in the photo, the flow was "ok". Was really hoping for a more gushing flow, but you cant have everything. With this photograph, it SCREAMED mono to me, so, i had to obey and convert away. Decided to darken the surrounding sides of the waterall to really isolate and enhance the waterfall itself. I didnt want to go mad with the shutter speed on this but i still wanted to retain the drops of water on the edges which created some nice vertical lines through the photograph.
