A machine driven fan would separate wheat from chaff. This vintage farm implement is part of a large estate once belonging to Sir William Van Horne, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1888. During his employ Canada's first transcontinental railroad was completed with the driving of the "Last Spike" on November 7, 1885. The estate is located on Ministers Island in St Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada and is being preserved as an historical site.
