This is an image I have had in my head to do for some time. I knew I had the photos, I just needed to work on the edit. This is Bombay Beach in the Salton Sea and at one time this was a popular and thriving vacation destination. Now it is a haunting and surreal area where extinction and decay play a major role in the landscape. There is a subtle and minimalist beauty there though and my effort in this photo was to bring that to the forefront.
