Behind The Lens

Location

The location this was taken was near to where I live in Essex , my cousin has horses in stables just next to this field .

Time

It was mid morning and although it was a beautiful day the clouds had become quite dramatic , I love a moody sky for depth

Lighting

Only natural light was needed

Equipment

I'm a canon user and this was with 50mm f1.8

Inspiration

I love music and tend to collect props this guitar being one of them, as the clouds became nice and dramatic it was just a last min thing to use the guitar as an offering so to speak , the composition and direction work well for this I think. My model Natalie did a great job creating the look I wanted :)

Editing

Yes I did the processing I added contrast and tone this image didnt need a lot of work

In my camera bag

Camera, 50mm 1.8 18-200 f3.5 , tripod , reflector and plenty of plastic bags to put on the ground if I need to get down low , this is a very basic kit but I make it work for what I'm trying to acheive

Feedback

Sometimes keeping simple can get the best results
