I was asked to photograph this beautiful little girl 4 days before she was to undergo open heart surgery. I felt the field of wild flowers represented new life, the beginning of a new season, (Spring), and the beginning of a new heart for this little angel. I'm so happy to say the surgery was a success and she is living life to the fullest.
