Inle Lake is a shallow and vast lake located in the heart of Shan State, in the middle of Myanmar. It is probably the most magical place of the country. The local people have constructed a network of channels that communicate neighbouring houses. One of the most beautiful experiences is to wander around these intertwined stretches of water late in the afternoon, when a sense of peace falls within the lake.
