Grand CanyonTime
It was one of those afternoons you just happened to be walking down the edge of the Grand Canyon at just the right time. The sun was peaking through the clouds shining into the canyon producing a surreal foggy array in the atmosphere. This visual only lasted a few moments and everything went back to normal just before sunset.Lighting
The sun rays in this landscape provided an amazing depth to the rock formations by creating a backlight effect which silhouetted my frontside visual.Equipment

I'm always searching for cool landscapes, obviously the Grand Canyon is known for being an amazing place. I was working doing some creative work in Pheonix for a few days and could not pass on the opportunity to take a day and go snap a few shots. The Grand Canyon was nothing short of amazing!Editing
I did a little post processing with this image but nothing major, I brought up the clarity as well as the shadows in adobe lightroom which brought out the rays and enlightened the shadows in the landscape. This is very close though to what my natural eye could see.In my camera bag
I normally carry multiple cameras, I carry a minimum of a canon 5dsr and generally a sony a7sII as I also love to capture film like footage. I typically always have in my bag my two favorite lenses. The Canon 16-35mm f 2.8 and the Canon 70-200mm f 2.8. I also carry my 50mm 1.2 but generally find myself reaching for the other two lenses more often than not.Feedback
My biggest advice for any photographer is try anything and everything and try it often. As a self-taught photographer this has been my approach. I love trying different equipment, different techniques, different post processing platforms and most of all I love trying out new locations. I love learning from others through creative resources like CreativeLive and Skillshare as well as a many others. There are so many amazing ways to learn in todays culture, the amount of digital content available to photographers today is at an all time high. It is absolutely a great time to be a photographer, both as professional and or a hobbiest! Thanks view bug for providing an amazing community to share content with!
