We left our lodge in Myanmar before first light & began our drive up Mt, Victoria, About 2 hours later we saw the sunrise

This spectacular view of the hills east of the Blue Ridge greeted us when arrived at the gap on a late morning in June.

we began our drive to the summit of Mt. Victoria in Myanmar before dawn. About half way up, we were greeted by this sunrise.

We trapped and banded this bird during fall migration and took this photo before releasing it.

We got up well before first light and headed up the road on Mt. Victoria in Myanmar. We were about half way up the mountain when we saw this spectacul

This pond was formed by a dam erected in colonial time to support a gristmill and supported a merchant who served the farmers for many miles.
