Rose petals

I volunteered on a wildlife sanctuary as apart of my backpacking experience in New Zealand. My hostess at this location was an inspirational young woman whose clothes were always an expression of her vibrant and artistic personality. Her daughters name means "blessed melody". When I took this shot they were waiting on the quay for a family member's return home. Two flowers, their petals ruffled by the wind and brightened by the sunshine.
