I adopted Merlin and his sister Tabitha 18 months ago when my old lad, Kit, passed away aged 22. My husband and I decided we wanted to adopt two senior 'kittizens' in honour of Kit's great age. Merlin and Tabitha are 15 and are both polydactyl, meaning that are 'thumb cats' with extra toes!
