Location
This Blue GrottoT is situated in the South East coast of the Island. This Grotto can be admired from land and directly at sea. From land, there are two vantage points. Slightly sideways, up very close from a promenade. And the second land point is from the opposing cliff called Il-Munqar. This photo was taken from Il-Munqar. Munqar means bird's beak. The place is called Munqar due to a rock formation in the shape of an Eagle's beak. The promenade is reachable from the villages named Zurrieq or Qrendi.Time
Best time to admire this natural beauty is 9am to 10m . Sun reflects the blue of the sea in the Grotto's ceiling. This photo was taken in the afternoon, though.Lighting
The sun will reflect the blue of the sea to the cave in the morning. Best time.Equipment
