Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Varanasi , India

Time

It was early morning. Around 6 in the morning.

Lighting

It was a very foggy morning. So visibility was very poor.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D5200. With kit lens 18-105mm

Inspiration

As I was going through streets beside the ghat , I saw this rickshaw wala staring at me. We had a chat about the place. He then offered me a ride in his rickshaw. But I had to refuse as I was to walk and click pictures. Then I clicked this picture because I loved the interaction and the way he was looking at me.

Editing

Yes I edited this picture. But it was minimal. A touch sharpening of subject. Making it in black and white. Adjusted the highlights.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000 with kit lens 18-105mm

Feedback

I would suggest everyone to interact with the people you are clicking. This way you get to know the person. Environmental portraits are always more important as they say a lot more about the subject.
