Location
The picture was taken on location inside a building of an abandoned place.Time
The original timestamp was: 2014 08-30, 18:09:51 (06:09:51 PM)Lighting
Inside this room it was really dark. The only natural light was coming through the window in the picture wich is roofed by trailing plants. That was a cool environment. The flash was coming from the upper left in a 45° degree angle.Equipment
Nikon D800e (freehand), Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50 mm f/1.4G at f/2.8, SB910 Speedlight with an 17" beauty dish with grid.Inspiration
The place - the invironment itself inspired me. ...and the tiny beauty of model. The darkness at this place...this window...the lost place itself...that gives me the idea to put the model right in the corner of the window. That was the idea: big window / little girl.Editing
Besides of common retouching (nothing special in general) i rised the hight of the window twice to raise the effect of my idea.In my camera bag
Nikon D800e, Nikon Nikkor AF-S 50 mm f/1.4G, AF-S NIKKOR 70–200 mm 1:2,8G ED VR II, beauty dish 17" or 22", SB 910 Speedlight, Elinchrom Ranger RX speed AS, two Ranger A heads, 120 cm 5 in 1 reflector.Feedback
Just try to put an emotional mood into your work - into the picture. It doesen't matter wich kind of picture you will going to shoot, think of something special. To have an idea...a plan what to shoot and how before you go out, on location, into a studio, will help a lot.
