This is one of the best portraits I've seen on Viewbug. It deserves to win awards, well done Kelly!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in East Brookfield Ma in the Barnes Portrait Design studio.

Time

It was taken around 8pm.

Lighting

I wanted the lighting to be full of contrast and to be very clean.

Equipment

I used my NikonD800 and 18-200 lens with 3 profoto lights

Inspiration

The head piece did. It was actually a curtain that i was folding up to put away and thought it would make for a great photo

Editing

Yes i did I mostly did basic stuff added contrast clarity brought up her eyes, smoothed her skin.

In my camera bag

Nikon D800, nikon 18-200, nikon 50mm, nikon SB 600 flash

Feedback

I would mostly say think contrast and hard light use any small light source yiu have and have fun with it try moving the light from behind the modle to the front and see how the lighting changeds and molds their face.
