Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in a recreation area near Sedona Arizona. We had been up there for a wedding shoot and afterwards went exploring and discovered this. I always try to capture the whole thing when I shoot so others can see it the way I do.

Time

This was taken in mid afternoon. The lighting was just right so everything came out perfect.

Lighting

The sun was midday so it was behind me. It was lighting the tree just right.

Equipment

I took the shot with a d3200 Nikon.

Inspiration

The size and age of the tree as well as it's title.

Editing

I might have done a lite touch up but not much.

In my camera bag

Nikon d3200 camera, three different lenses, remote for steady shots and misc stuff.

Feedback

The only advice I can give is just pay attention to the surrounding area and if something catches your eye take a shot of it. I generally don't use a bunch of equipment. I tend to go somewhere to hike and get pics as I do.
