Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in the southeastern of Belgium in an area called the Fagnes. This area near the border with Germany is the highest of Belgium

Time

I was there during the day to help a friend filming a movie. The weather was quite stormy and changing with lot of rain showers

Lighting

I used the wood path to lead the viewer to the dramatic sky and the little area full of light

Equipment

I used a Sony A7 and the kit lens 28-70mm

Inspiration

I was looking to show a really unknown place of Belgium under a dramatic weather. I don't think a lot of people can tell it's in Belgium.

Editing

I used a good amount of post processing to darken the sky but also to give this moody yellow and cyan look.

In my camera bag

I used a Sony A7 and A6000 both with the kit lens but also with the amazing 16-35mm. I carry also a tripod and a 70-200mm

Feedback

A lot of patience and knowledge of the weather. You need a day with loads of wind and quite stormy
