This photo was taken at the daily fish market in Grenada/CaribbeanTime
it was around 9 am, everybody was busy to sell and clean the daily catch. Since people there know me they are not too shy being photographed, but anyhow I always ask their permission.Lighting
Lighting? This was natural lighting without any extra light source.... and the camera was set on auto since I take snapshots when I am in situations like the market.I don't have the time to set anything...!Equipment
I take my trusted little Panasonic TZ18 with me where ever I go, light, small and reliable. And it was handheld, so nothing fancy. Often I take candid shots as well and cannot appear with my other big Lumix.Inspiration
My inspiration is daily life on Caribbean Islands - and there is lots of it! I am fortunate enough to live and work there.Editing

As I mentioned above, my little Lumix TZ 18 is always ready to go, even underwater in an underwater housing. She never failed me yet. I know she is a bit outdated by now, but I love her. Meanwhile I bought the Lumix FZ200 and love her too, but that one is too big to be candid....she is reserved for wildlife, Nature and 'artistic' shots.Feedback
Be friendly, open, polite, always ask permission and never take anything for granted. If people like you their hearts are open for you and your camera. Have fun observing and learning
