Location
This photo was taken in Burgundy, in France near river Loire.Time
It was around middayLighting
It was a very sunny day and it was really hot. I thought the light was too hard to take any interesting photos but it was great for that shot because I didn't use any reflector or external flash.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS 700D (also known as Rebel t5i) and a Canon 70-200 lens at 200 mm f/4. No flash, no tripod, no reflector.Inspiration
I love photography and even if I'm an amateur, I try to improve my skills in different styles. This is not real macro but the beauty of this butterfly really caught my eye.Editing
I usually do a bit of post processing using Lightroom. I added some sharpness to the eyes and antennas of the butterfly, maybe a bit too much because the antenna on the left is too sharp and blurred at the same time. Something I see now but didn't notice then.In my camera bag
I usually have my Canon 700D, the 70-200, a 50 mm and the 18-135 mm kit lensFeedback
My only advice is to shoot what you like, the way you like it. I really think that watching others' photos is a great way to improve too. Don't think it's impossible, it's often easier than it seems. Be patient and have fun, that's the key to get photos you like and other may like too.
