In March 2015, I stumbled across this tiny village of Gassudulur in the Faroe Islands. Gassudulur is perched on top of the cliffs on the island of Vagar on a bleak windswept landscape. The Faroe islands date back to the Viking Age and small villages like this are to be found all over the island. This particular village has a population of 16 people.
