As hard as it is to believe, yesterday morning was the first time this year I've managed to get out with my imaging box in anger, in 2015 ... and it felt good, albeit not that brilliant when the alarm went off at 1.30am.
I had checked the weather reports for a few days and there looked like a window of opportunity was developing in the Yorkshire Dales, so I revisited this spot in the hope of getting the shot I had imagined a couple of years back on my last visit.
The clouds kept rolling in from the west and sunrise was looking unlikely, but the odd break made the morning worthwhile ... although I may still have to come back for 'that' shot.
